Spiel des Jahres nominees for 2007 announced

Not sure exactly how behind this one we are, but it can't be too long because there are still a couple of these games without English editions. The one I've seen in stores most often is Arkadia, and I'm interested to learn of this animal-themed sequel to the simple-but-deep card game Coloretto. Anyway: good times.

Arkadia seems to be getting a lot of play here...and is also selling pretty well. Favorable on both accounts...

I've played Arkadia... and its a good game but I'd be terribly shocked if Pillars of the Earth didn't walk away with it. It was the buzz of Essen and has been getting a lot of play here.
