Maybe with the new voting structure (only attendees at Origins '07 get a vote, if I remember correctly), Steve Jackson Games won't be able to flood the ballot box with votes for yet another Munchkin title.

Kinda random list. Some stuff on there that's spot on, a lot that's huh? Woo dreamblade mat! I mean it's nifty but it shouldn't be there.

@WilliamG:

Hah! The conspiracy isn't foiled that easily. We will round up the ignorant peasant masses and arrange transportation to Origins so they can dutifully vote for five more years of Munchkinism.

Look for the MIB 'guarding' the ballot boxes on election day... fnord.

Arguably the best set of nominations in a long time and actually representative of the gaming hobby at the moment. After last year's dross this is a breath of fresh air.

As to the RPG list -- as a friend said, "Well, I can definitely say that RuneQuest is the least deserving title there, and I'm a RuneQuest fan."

I would not say this list is a breath of fresh air, more like a less stinky fart. The update for historicals was atrocious, command and colors ancients? Cheap components and stickers you had to put on yourself gets nominated? Someone looked at their gaming shelf when they made this list. The RPG's are the strongest category the rest is a lame joke.
