GPA elects 2006-2007 Board

The Game Publishers Association has elected its new Board of Directors, making Tony Hellmann of Technomancer Games the new Executive Director. So far, there don't seem to be any GAMA-style election protests, so I guess that's a good sign. Other election results are below.

Hi folks,
A quick update from the Game Publishers Assocation. The GPA has
elected its 2006-07 Board of Directors after earlier amending its
bylaws to hold elections in September rather than December for a
smoother transition between boards.

Tony Hellmann of Technomancer Games is our new Executive Director, or
president. Patrick Sweeney of Firefly Games is Deputy E.D. and
Director of Communications. Ann Dupuis of Grey Ghost Press is Director
of Finance. Keith Sears of Heraldic Game Design is Director of Online
Services. And Jason Walters of Hero Games is Director of Member
Services.

The board also has appointed Marcy Ganow of Tabletop Adventures, Dave
Wainio of Three Sages Games, and David Mattingly of Blackwyrm Games as
associate directors.
