Army of Darkness card game at Gen Con Indy

Eden Studios plans to have the Army of Darkness Card Game at Gen Con Indy later this month, previewing before its Halloween release. Gamers have been waiting to use their boom sticks for a while now, and anticipation has simmered and increased slowly. It's a sure bet that Eden will be hearing "Gimme some sugar, baby" as the October release draws closer.

Eden Studios press release follows:

Join Eden Studios at booth 332 at GenCon Indy during August 19-22, 2004 in the Indiana Convention Center to play the upcoming Army of Darkness Card Game, due in stores for Halloween!

Find the Necromonicon.
Recite the words.
Dispel the evil.
Simple, right? Take 2 to 4 of your “friends” and save the world, while trying to stop each other from doing it first. With awesome images and quotes from the movie, this fast-paced game can be played in 30-45 minutes and brings much laughter to a dull evening.

This is a stand-alone, non-collectible card game for ages 12 and up.

Suggested Retail Price: $20.00 (US)
Order Code: EDN6310
ISBN: 1-891153-19-6
Designed by M. Alexander Jurkat and George Vasilakos
Release Date: Halloween 2004 (yup ... we mean it too)

Make sure you have your copy reserved at your local game store or preordered from our website.

Man I wish I was going to GenCon just so that I could take a try at this.

The big question is IF we'll actually see the game when they say it'll be out. Lets face it - Eden isn't exactly known for meeting their own deadlines (although their stuff is usually worth the wait).
