Best Roleplaying Game
Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG .... Eden Studios
d20 Call of Cthulhu .......... Wizards of the Coast
Mutants and Masterminds RPG ... Green Ronin
Silver Age Sentinels .. Guardians Of Order, Inc.
The Lord of the Rings RPG ........ Decipher, Inc.

GAR!! What heppened to GODLIKE... *that* was the Best RPG for 2002... d20 Call of Cthulu??!? Didn't the d20 system already get their Origin award? Hasn't Call of Cthulhu as well? GAR!! GAR!

Godlike is indeed a sad omission. I think the system turned a lot of industry people off. (And that's leaving aside allegations that the noms process is horribly broken and conflicted...)

What about Nobilis? Should that have been a 2002 nominee or would it have fallen into 2001. It's so hard to tell with some of these games. Regardless, Nobilis should have won award upon award...

That's my problem with Origins, they don't award innovation, just business practices... Go figure that Avalanche has so many nominees on the list, eh?
