Gaming Report has posted a short message so shocking that I hesitate to even broach the subject (and I am not talking about the rumored Giuffria reunion). There are apparently plans to release a sequel to the rightly panned Dungeons and Dragons movie in 2004. That is about all that exists right now, perhaps if we can get The WB to reinstate the Wayans Brothers show we can head this thing off at the pass.

Actually, rumors of this announcement have been circulating since shortly after the first movie. The only thing Sweetpea Entertainment did right was to set up an extensive, lucrative foreign distribution deal way ahead of time. So, even when the movie tanked over here, the financial investment of creating the horrific experience was recovered many times over. Because of that, a sequel was pretty much a sure thing.
